Emily Carr University, located in Vancouver, Canada, is Canada’s most research intensive school of art and design. The history of Emily Carr University goes back to1925. Since the first class of four students in 1925, the University of Art + Design became a globally recognized University, a leader in education and research.
The university always pursues excellence in the arts and education in honour of their namesake artist Emily Carr, a Canadian artist and writer famous for her Modernist and Post Impressionist painting style.
